Who can register as a Wholesale customer?

Hairdressers can email sales@hairquip.nz with one of the following for proof of business:

  • Name/address used in your sales history with Hairquip.
  • Website/instagram/facebook related to your hairdressing.
  • Business card scan with matching delivery address.
  • Trade certification.

Once registered you will be able to access discounts, depending on your spend amount. The discount tiers will be emailed to you with the T & C's.

How do I get in touch with somebody?

How do I know my order has gone through on the website?

You will receive an email within 5 minutes confirming your order. You can also check your previous orders, once you have logged onto the site. Just go to the top right hand corner of the home page, click on your name and you will see your previous orders.

If your order has not gone through, you may not have proceeded far enough with the checkout process. Reorder and continue to proceed through the checkout remembering to tick the terms and conditions box.

I would like to remove an item from my cart or change the quantity ordered. How do I do this?

Go to your shopping cart, change the quantity, highlight the quantity, then click the circle arrow button to the right of the quantity box. This will change the quantity. You can also click the red tick button to the far right and this will remove the item from your cart. You can then proceed with your shopping.

I have forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?

Go to: Sign in, on the top right hand corner of the homepage. Click “forgot your password?” which is to the left of the sign in button. Enter your email address as requested and click submit to be emailed a new password.

I don’t have a credit card. Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes, you can. Once you have selected your items, proceed to the payment area and select “pay by bank transfer”. You will receive details of the reference number to use and our bank account number.

I would like to order online and pickup the items. How can I do this?

Proceed to the checkout and choose “pickup”. You are then able to either pay for the items prior to pickup or when you pick them up.

Why are your prices so low?

Hairquip’s aim is to provide a wide range of Hair and Beauty items at great prices. We source quality items and import them from throughout the world, direct to you, thus cutting out the middle man.

How can I order online for the first time from Hairquip?

Go to the top right hand corner of the homepage and click register. Enter your details, name, delivery address,contact number for the courier etc . Click submit at the bottom of the page, then click continue and then proceed to choose the items by clicking on "add to cart".

I am from Australia/Pacific Islands and would like to make an order. Can I do this?

As our prices are generally better than domestic suppliers (even after shipping) we have built up a number of Australian, Fijian, Niuean, and Samoan customers, particularly for hair extensions. An automated shipping price system is planned but has not yet been implemented. As such, please direct shipping enquiries to sales@hairquip.co.nz, or call.

We usually send Australian orders via New Zealand Post - expect 5 to 7 days for delivery. Large shipments to the Pacific Islands are generally handled by a freight company.

What does the order status mean?

  • Processing: The order has been paid for and is being prepared for shipping.
  • Update: The order is on hold until a query is resolved.
  • Shipped: The order has been shipped.
  • Unpaid: Payment has not yet been received or entered into the system.
  • Paid: The order has been paid for and will be processed and shipped on the next working day.
